FDD REPORTS KANGANJA TO POLICE PUBLIC COMPLAINST AUTHORITY

BY KALALUKA MUSHAUKWA
The Forum for Development and Democracy (FDD) has lodged a formal complaint to the Police Public Complaint Authority against Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja for his failure to arrest and charge PF secretary General Davies Mwila for inciting PF cadres to take over the running of bus stations and markets in Kabwe.
FDD spokesperson Antonio Mwanza has told Komboni Radio in an interview that it is disappointing that nothing has been done on the matter since 20th January 2017 when the matter was reported to the police for his utterance in Kabwe.
Mr Mwanza charged that the conduct of the IG is improper and unprofessional hence his decision to lodge a complaint to the Police Public Complaints Authority.
The FDD spokesperson has since asked the commission to accordingly cite Mr Kanganja for professional ineptness, complicity and violation of the Zambia police act and ensure that appropriate action is taken against him.
