Residents of Lusaka’s Chaisa compound have called for a more coordinated approach on the construction works currently going in that area.
Isaac Daka stressed that there is need for contractors to engage the local authority when a major project is being undertaken in a particular area and bring together various service providers on site.
Mr Daka explains that the engagement of various service providers will ensure that works are completed at the same time to avoid inconveniences.
Another resident Francis Mulenga charged that it is regrettable to note that some roads are being damaged soon after being constructed by other service providers carrying out maintenance works.
