Residents of new Chamba valley have expressed concern over the stalled works on the construction of the bridge that demarcates the community and Ngwerere area.
In an interview with Komboni radio news, Boyd Malunga who lives near the Ngwerere stream complained that construction works on the said bridge have stalled adding that residents are and worried as the bridge becomes impassible during the rainy season.
Mr. Malunga lamented that school going children are the most affected as they rely on the said bridge to access schools in neighbouring communities.
The residents have since pleaded with their area councilor to ensure that works are completed before the onset of the rainy season.
