Kamwala ward 5 Councilor Moses Bwalya says the local authority has commenced the construction of new drainages and unblocking of old ones in his ward.
Councilor Bwalya who confirmed the development to Komboni radio news today say the local authority has started constructing temporal drainages and unblocking old ones following the floods that were experienced in the area.
The civic leader has since appealed to residents in the ward to desist from throwing sold wasted as this contributes to the clogging of drainages.
