Kanyama residents have expressed gratitude over the completion of the Theatre department at Kanyama health centre.
And the residents have called upon the ministry of health to ensure that the newly constructed theatre at Kanyama Clinic is quickly opened.
They have noted that once operational, the theatre will go a long way in decongesting the University Teaching Hospital-UTH and reduce the costs that people were incurring when accessing such services from other health centres.
And Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr Kennedy Malama has assured Kanyama residents that the newly constructed theatre at their local clinic will be operational in the next few weeks together with the maternity ward annex.
