A concerned youth of Lusaka’ Jack compound has called upon the local leadership to facilitate for the construction of a skills training centre in that area.
Mweetwa Mushaukwa has told Komboni radio news in an interview that a lot of young people in the community are spending much of their time drinking alcohol and abusing drunks due to lack of employment.
Mushaukwa has stressed that government should move in and empower youths with small loans and equipments such as sewing machines among others so that they can become self-reliant.
He has also urged civic leaders in the community to ensure that a skills training centre is constructed in that area where young people can learn various life survival skills.
