Residents of Lusaka’s George compound are excited with the commencement of garbage collection at Katambalala market.
In an interview with Komboni radio news Benson Mkandawire who commended the civic leaders on the garbage collection initiative also urged them to extend the services to other parts of George Compound.
And Kelvin Kangwa observed that George Compound has grappled with uncollected garbage for years and called on the civic leaders to invent a sustainable waste management system.
