A Lusaka based clergy has called on the church to preach messages of morality in order to restore good morals in the country.
Reverend Musheke Phiri says she has noted with concern that most churches nowadays are focused so much on resource mobilization instead of preaching the Gospel of Jesus that transforms lives.
Reverend Phiri has observed that the continued moral decay in society has led to the negative vices such as murder, theft and drug abuse that the country continues to grapple with.
The clergywoman has also called on women in the country to help restore good biblical and cultural principles that will promote human dignity.
Reverend Phiri was speaking in an interview with Komboni news.
