CHIPATA OVERSPILL RESIDENTS APPEAL FOR BETTER ROADS

Residents of Chipata overspill have bemoaned the dilapidated state of roads in that area.
In an interview with a Komboni Radio News crew that visited the community today, the residents complained that roads in the area are in a very dilapidated state and have become impassible.
Ms Mwenya Kalumba lamented that the bad state of roads in Chipata Overspill has resulted in Public Service Vehicle operators to shun away from reaching certain areas.
She further complained that some taxi drivers have taken advantage of the situation and are overcharging their clients.
The residents have since appealed to their area councilor to facilitate for the rehabilitation of roads in the area.
And when contacted, Raphael Chota ward 22 councilor Joseph Tamba assured the residents that the roads in Chipata Overspill will be walked on as soon as the rains are over.
