Residents of Chawama compound have condemned people who have started vandalizing the newly installed street lights in the community.
Ms Stella Mwanza says it is unfortunate that some unscrupulous people have started vandalizing street lights that were installed to improve security in the community.
She has since urged members of the community to guard public facilities that have been installed as they are meant to better their lives.
And another resident who declined to be named has called upon the council to arrest people who are in the habit of destroying public property to deter other would be offenders.
