About 90 percent of works on the construction of the traffic department at Garden Police station has been done.
Mandevu area Member of Parliament Jean Kapata has told Komboni Radio news that the traffic department will soon be operational once the remaining works are completed.
Ms. Kapata explained that what is remaining is to put the ceiling board, floor towel and furnishing the new structure.
She notes that once the traffic department at Garden Police station is functional, it will help regulate the flow of traffic in Garden compound especially during peak hours.
The Mandevu Parliamentarian has disclosed that crime rate has reduced following the opening of the garden Police station.
