Residents of George compound have called for the expansion of the local police post into a police station.
Ms Mercy Chanda has told a Komboni radio news crew that visited the community today that there is need for the authorities to expand the police post into a bigger police station in order to police the area efficiently.
She notes that the current situation has proved to be quite challenging for officers to combat crime in that community as they are under staffed.
And Ms Grace Banda has observed that the expansion of the police post will help restore order and reduce crime levels in the community that are said to be sky rocketing.
