Police have apprehended 10 pupils among them grade 8, 10, 11 and 12 of Olympia Park secondary school after they took to the streets to protest over the suspended examinations.

The pupils allegedly blocked the road with stones thereby inconveniencing the motorists.

Police were called to restore order and managed to disperse the stone-throwing pupils.

Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo has told Komboni Radio news that the 10 pupils have since been released after they were strongly warned.

Mrs. Katongo has warned the pupils to desist from unruly behavior or risk being prosecuted.

The police spokesperson has also urged parents and guardians in the country to guide the conduct of their children saying any unruly behavior will attract criminal charges.
